I’m Matt Conners — a proud husband to my amazing wife Cassie and father to three wonderful children. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where faith, family, and hard work have always been the foundation of my life.
After years as an account manager at Apple, creating and selling innovative products, I felt a deeper calling to build something of my own — something with lasting purpose. With God’s guidance and the unwavering support of my wife, Cassie, I left the corporate world to launch FuelRunner — a company rooted in faith, integrity, and a mission to serve our community with unmatched convenience and care.
My dad is a petroleum engineer, so in many ways, life has come full circle. I grew up around the energy industry — and now, through FuelRunner, I have the opportunity to carry that legacy forward in a way that’s modern, community-focused, and grounded in the faith and values my family instilled in me.

My wife Allie and I were born and raised in Bakersfield. After a decade of playing professional baseball, I came home to work in my family’s construction company. That’s when the idea for FuelRunner was born — a simple solution to a daily problem: wasted time at gas stations.
With faith and a lot of hustle, we launched FuelRunner to bring fuel directly to busy people — at home, at work, or wherever the day takes them. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to serve our community. Thanks for being part of the journey.

My wife Aubree and I were born and raised in Bakersfield, and we’re proud parents to three amazing kids — Brooks, Halle, and Grey.
I spent years managing an almond huller and sheller, learning how to run a business from the ground up. When God opened the door for us to step into entrepreneurship, we followed with full hearts — and FuelRunner was born.
